Capacity Building Infrastructure Grants Program
The NSW Department of Health called for applications for Round 3 of the NSW Health Capacity Building Infrastructure Grants (CBIG) Program on 1st July 2009. Applications closed on 28th August 2009.
The Program is designed to provide infrastructure funding to eligible research organisations or collaborations which:
- are located in NSW;
- have sufficient existing capacity to support future sustained growth;
- are not-for-profit;
- have a defined management structure and sufficient independence to determine research directions and use of funds;
- have an appropriately qualified and experienced director; and
- have formal links with the NSW Department of Health and Area Health Services.
The CBIG Selection panel will meet to consider applications on 2 October 2009. The announcement of successful applicants is expected in early November 2009 with Round 3 funding commencing in January 2010.
