Maternal & Perinatal Health

Responsibilities include providing secretariat for the Ministerial Maternal and Perinatal Committee and the Maternal and Perinatal Health Priority Taskforce.  

Other state-wide NSW Health organisations/networks providing maternal and perinatal services/information include:

• Pregnancy and Newborn Services Network (PSN)
  PSN is responsible for the planning and coordination of high risk pregnancy services. From an operational point of view, the PSN includes the Australian Capital Territory (Canberra).

• NSW Newborn and Paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS)
  'NETS' is the statewide emergency service for medical retrieval of critically ill newborns, infants and children in New South Wales (NSW), Australia.

• Primary Maternity Services Network

• Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health Strategy (AMIHS)
