Summary

This Report outlines the extensive research into Nursing Workload, Skill Mix and Nursing and Patient Outcomes undertaken by the University of Technology, Sydney funded by the Department of Health. This is the first such study at the ward level undertaken in Australia and few such studies have been done internationally.
